Superman and Lois' return to idyllic Smallville is set to be upended by mysterious strangers.

Lois and Clark struggle as a couple while Chrissy adjusts to running The Smallville Gazette with Lois. Jonathan faces new challenges on the football field, and secrets threaten to destroy Jordan and Sarah's growing relationship. Meanwhile, Kyle grows concerned over Lana's involvement with a new mayoral candidate. Lastly, John Henry Irons and his daughter Natalie attempt to make this new Earth their home.

In season 3, Clark and Lois are now working at the Smallville Gazette together and enjoying small town life. However, Lois' work-life balance is put to the test when an undercover assignment reveals a deadly foe that promises to change the Kent family forever. Meanwhile, the Kent boys find themselves being pulled in opposite directions as Jordan discovers what a superhero-identity really means and Jonathan searches for purpose beyond the football field. Amid all this upheaval, John Henry is haunted by his doppelgänger's past, leading to dangerous consequences for him and Natalie.

Following an action-packed and dramatic season three finale, the Kent family continues their fight against their biggest enemies in the upcoming final season.
