Chang Wei-chieh and Lin Chih-chuan take Chi-shun out. Seeing Chen Pao assault Li Wen-kao, they pursue Chen and accidentally hurt passer-by Yeh Chiao-yi, but Chen flees. Then, finding Chi-shuo missing, Wei-chieh becomes jumpy. Chiao-yi coming upon Chi-shuo takes care of him. Passing through, Chang Fu-cheng and Li Li-mei take Chiao-yi for an abductor and reprimand her. The misunderstanding is subsequently cleared, but Chiao-yi remains resentful. Accompanied by Wei-chieh, Chiao-yi returns home to find it locked. Wei-chieh offers to dine with her. Wei-chieh also hands her a cake originally bought for Hsu Chiu-ping and this canes as a pleasant surprise to her who is having her 18th birthday. Senior inspector CHEUNG WAI-KIT breaks into a crime ring and successfully arrests the robbers. Exhausted after the work, he stays home to rest while his wife HAU-YEE goes to the beach, accompanied by his sister KA- MAN. LAM CHI-CHUEN, a persistent open admirer of KA-MAN, follows them. After the incident, HAU-YEE observes that CHEUK often hangs around her flower shop, and suspects that she is his target. Sunny, an assistant in HAU-YEE's flower shop, is found dying of sex torture. CHEUK invites HAU-YEE and CHI-KIT to attend a party. He makes a pass on CHI-KIT and invites him to bed.
