Desna and her girls take pride in doing nails at the Nail Artisans of Manatee County, but amidst painting hooves and dreaming of a better life, she finds herself entangled in a money laundering scheme with the Dixie Mafia.

Desna and the girls struggle to keep hope alive while still working under the thumb of the new Russian regime, spearheaded by Riva. Desna remains in the dark about her gangster/gyno boyfriend, Ruval. Virginia tells Dean that she's pregnant.

In the wake of Virginia being shot, the crew must regroup to face their off-kiltered new adversaries, Mac and Melba Lovestone, so they can run Bayside Rapture Casino like the bosses they are.

With the casino gone, Desna is prepared to return to her roots as a money-laundering nail mogul, which proves to be more difficult than expected, propelling her and the crew further into a world of criminality.
