Season 1
In a covert Romanian facility, Erik Heller evades security to rescue baby Hanna. 15 years on, father and daughter live deep in the Polish forest. Erik has trained Hanna to be an incredible killer and hunter. Yet, keen to grow beyond the boundaries of her isolated world, she begins to venture away from home. This attracts the attention of CIA agent Marissa Wiegler, who has hunted Hanna since birth.
Season 2
In Season 2, Hanna is drawn out of hiding when her sole friend is recaptured by Utrax. With the help of Marissa Wiegler, Hanna infiltrates the strange new Utrax facility called ‘The Meadows’ to rescue Clara.
Season 3
In Season 3, Hanna is now secretly trying to destroy Utrax from the inside and free herself from its grasp with the help of her previous nemesis, former-CIA agent Marissa Wiegler. Together they have coerced high-ranking Utrax agent John Carmichael into aiding their mission, but her fellow young assassins, Sandy and Jules, as well as new foes are starting to suspect Hanna’s plot. As Hanna moves closer to her goal, she begins to uncover not only a world-changing agenda but the true power behind Utrax that stands between her and freedom.

Hanna is a adaptation of the rather excellent film of the same name from 2011.
The choice of actors, sets and the general vibe of the series closely and in my view wisely, mirrors the film. That said, as might be expected the story diverges but its general direction is unconvincing.
Why, for example, would an isolationist ex CIA operative rely on the very organisation he betrayed arrange his escape and that of Hanna? Especially given the emphasis he places on independence and a "trust no one" mentality? Not to mention his extensive contacts.
Its these flaws the pull this series down to a degree which is a shame as it captures the discordant, unsettling atmosphere of the original movie nicely.
Not a bad watch but not in the same class as the film.
6/10 from me.
