Hubert und Staller

Hubert and Staller actually only want to catch an escaped parrot, but then discover that the bird's owner has passed away.

The only car for miles speeds through a traffic checkpoint without braking, flies off the next curve, and overturns. The victim: a sober doctor.

Hubert and Girwidz observe a woman attempting to enter the home of architect Nicole Jansen. The woman claims to have an appointment and that the doorbell is broken. Inside the house, Hubert and Girwidz discover that the architect would not have been able to open the door anyway. She has been shot with a crossbow bolt. There is much to suggest that her husband is the perpetrator, but Robert Jansen has a solid alibi...

The police are hot on the heels of a cunning gang of burglars who have been wreaking havoc in Wolfratshausen's high society for some time. They mainly steal valuable paintings without leaving any traces behind. This makes the case almost impossible for Hubert and Girwidz to solve. But then Hubert discovers that all the stolen paintings were purchased from the same gallery...
