The Revolution Will Be Televised is a British television satire show, which was first screened on BBC Three in August 2012. Writing for The Guardian, Sam Wollaston said it's "Sacha Baron Cohen with a bit more substance then, or Mark Steel with a few more laughs".
At the 2013 British Academy Television Awards, the show won the Bafta for the Best Comedy Programme.
Seasons
Season 1
Heydon Prowse and Jolyon Rubinstein perform satirical sketches lampooning arrogance, hypocrisy and greed in public life. In the first edition, Dale Maily meets members of the Occupy movement in London, a group tries to make Tony Blair a saint, and regular characters James and Barnaby attend the Liberal Democrat conference. Plus, jokes at the expense of bankers, a clothing chain and foreign embassies.
Season 2
Dale Maily enjoys a day out at an EDL march in Birmingham, while James and Barnaby attempt to convince the public that MPs should have a pay rise.
Season 3
Dale gets inside the story of guns in America, James and Barnaby attend a Republican Party conference and Wall Street bankers get a chance to give something back.
