Emergency Bikers

The lone rangers of the road – Birmingham's paramedic bikers and Essex police biker cops - race through some of the most congested roads and cities in Europe, in a bid to save and protect lives. In the opening episode, the bikers rush to help an 11-yearold who has been hit by a car, and uncover a cannabis haul. Elsewhere, officers deal with the effects of an addict’s heroin overdose, and discover a driver’s potentially lethal weapon.

Biker paramedic Mark Hayes is flagged down to help a man having a seizure, and Steve Harris goes to the rescue when a six-year-old is hit by a car. Meanwhile, the cops are on the lookout for illegal contraband in Essex.

In Birmingham, biker paramedic Mark Hayes desperately battles to keep a man alive after a heart attack in the street, while colleague Steve races to help an epileptic who is having a fit. In Essex, biker cop PC 'Stomp' Allum is stalking the roads on an unmarked bike when he has to open the throttle to catch joy-riders racing at over 100mph.

A 999 call-out finds Steve working his magic on Will, a man who's in the first stage of a cardiac arrest. With his patient's condition deteriorating, Steve has to keep his cool to keep Will’s heart going. Down in Cornwall, paramedic Sarah Watson pulls on her leathers to answer the distressed call of a new mum. Baby Oliver, is floppy, unresponsive, and has a raging temperature. When Sarah arrives on scene will she be facing a case of deadly meningitis? Back in Birmingham, experienced biker paramedic Mark Hayes is shocked when he arrives at a flat to find a woman lying unconscious amongst empty bottles, rotting food, and an overwhelming stench...
