The Biggest Loser is an Australian reality television show, based on the original American version of the same name. It is produced by Crackerjack Productions and screened on Network Ten. It was hosted by Ajay Rochester from 2006–2009 and introduced former Olympian Hayley Lewis as its host in 2010. The show first debuted on 13 February 2006, followed by a second season on 4 February 2007 which introduced Michelle Bridges, Shannan Ponton and Steve Willis. The third season began airing on 3 February 2008. A fourth season, which features couples competing as teams, started airing on 1 February 2009. A fifth season, which aired on 31 January 2010, featuring former Olympic swimmer Hayley Lewis as the new host, and in 2011 the show introduced the new trainer Tiffiny Hall.

Season 1
The twelve contestants enter the house and absolutely love it. However, soon they realize there's no furniture. Two big trucks arrive and the contestants have to assemble the house! Later, called into a separate room, filled with delicious food, the contestants are given one last 'meal' before commencing, after which contestants suffer their first ever weigh in, with heartbreaking results. Bob and Jillian arrive to pick their teams.
Season 4
The Biggest Loser Australia: Couples! With the help of the trainers, Michelle Bridges, and Shannan Ponton, a new set of overweight families, lovers and friends will change their lives forever. The contestant with the highest percentage weight lost will win a MASSIVE cash prize, and the title of The Biggest Loser!
Season 6
The sixth season of the Australian version of the original NBC reality television series The Biggest Loser, known as The Biggest Loser Australia: Families, premiered on 30 January 2011 on Network Ten. This season saw the return of trainers Michelle Bridges, Shannan Ponton and Steve Willis (The Commando). It also introduced a new female trainer, Tiffiny Hall.
The families included in this season are the Duncan Family, the Westren Family, the Challenor Family and The Moon Family.
