In episode one viewers can look forward to meeting the show’s resident judges, celebrity chef and author Zola Nene and award-winning executive chef at The Restaurant at Waterkloof Gregory Czarnecki. As well as the 8 hottest South African culinary professionals who will be put straight to the test with a grueling task of creating the most instagrammable dish this week. This week the Zola and Gregory will be joined by guest judge, Omphile Setiolane, who will give the contestants a masterclass in how to style, compose, edit and choose the perfect food photo to make an impact on their Instagram feeds.

The Taste Master SA is back with judges Zola Nene and Fritz Schoon. For their first challenge in Season 3 contestants will need to impress with a vanilla cake with a difference.

Their goal is to impress the judges, celebrity chef Zola Nene and master bread baker, Fritz Schoon, along with special weekly guest chefs and celebrities. Only one can bake their way to the top and claim the Taste Master title.

14 of South Africa’s most talented bakers enter the kitchen to make big things happen as they bake their way to the title. In their first challenge it’s all about creating their own unique version of the classic British tea-time cake. With a masterclass from a special Taste Master alumni, Samantha Liang, our 14 bakers battle it out in the kitchen under the watchful eye of seasoned judges Zola Nene and Fritz Schoon.

It’s the season premiere of The Taste Master as ten talented contestants meet at a renowned hotel in Cape Town to kick off their journey. For the first challenge, in a heartwarming Mother’s Day tribute, contestants bring sentimental items that remind them of their moms and bake cakes inspired by her favourite flavours.
