Wasabi Mon Amour is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in January 2008. Japanese cuisine chef Chung Lai-Wo (Michael Tao) has long been in love with his childhood friend Ko Yau-Mei (Louisa So), who is always interested in pursuing a career in showbiz. To realize her dream, Wo lies to the press and refers to Mei as "a most talented chef of the time". With Wo's help, Mei has finally landed a job as the host of a food program. As Mei is completely clueless about cooking, Wo decides to do her a favor by offering to be her assistant, which irritates his mentor Ko Shau (Paul Chun), also father of Mei, beyond measure.
Although the food program turns out to be very popular, Mei often gets picked on by her half sister Ko Yim-Lai (Bernice Liu) while at work. Lai is angry with Shau for being bad to her mother and she means to make things difficult for Mei as revenge.

Staffs of the Japanese restaurant “Ichigo Ichie” are busily preparing food for dinner. Chef CHUNG YAU WO prepares Japanese sushi set for his boss KO SHAU’s daughter KO YAU MEI. SHAU’s younger sister KO KWAI insists that she will not take MEI’s order and WO voluntarily pays the bill for MEI. MEI is having a film shooting session for a TV commercial and she fights for the costume with the model SUKI. WO visits her with freshly made sushi and sashimi. MEI distributes the sushi to all the filming staffs and she gives the sashimi to the director to please him. MEI finally earns the chance to be the heroine of the TV commercial. During the film shooting, MEI nearly drowns herself and WO jumps into the swimming pool to save her. MA TSOI YAT, the boss of a big restaurant group, invites SHAU to be their spokesperson but SHAU refuses to take the offer. MEI becomes very popular after acting in the TV commercial and SHAU is upset.… ...
