KO HEI MAN, who is a judge, and KWOK KWOK KWONG, a freelance computer programmer, have a 6-month-old baby boy, KWOK YIN CHO. MAN reprimands the chief prosecutor, LEUNG YAN YAN, for losing her documents. In a trial of a dog-bite case, MAN suspects that the dog owner, KWOK TAK WAN, is unable to exercise proper control on his dog. She arranges a test for his ability.
