Season 1
Amy and Lou Fleming, and their grandfather Jack, deal with life after their mother's death while a new ranch hand, Ty Borden, comes to live and work at Heartland.
Season 2
It's been four months since Ty's sudden and unexplained departure, and Amy has moved on and become used to working with Caleb Odell, Heartland's new stable hand. With Amy's 16th birthday just days away, Lou is busy planning a surprise birthday party for her sister.
Season 3
Amy is thrust into the limelight when she performs a miracle on a traumatized horse and a video of the event is posted online.
Season 4
Amy tries to pretend that nothing has changed when Ty returns to Heartland with a surprise guest.
Season 5
Tim is having no luck tracking down Miranda and Shane since she dropped the bombshell that Shane is his son... until Shane --on his own-- surprises everyone by just showing up at Heartland. And Mallory entertains the idea of going with the recently-single-again Jake to the Spring Fling. There is however --as you might expect with Mallory-- a "but" attached.
Season 6
Amy is bursting to ask Ty about the engagement ring, and why he hasn’t proposed yet, but a couple of “runaways” throw everything at Heartland into turmoil.
Season 7
As the family struggles to cope with recent changes at the ranch, Amy realizes she must reclaim her "Miracle Girl" status and focus on her work with horses.
Season 8
Amy returns from Europe but finds herself struggling to integrate back into life at Heartland and her relationship with Ty.
Season 9
Season nine of Heartland finds the Bartlett-Fleming clan navigating the new normal as each family member starts an exciting chapter, leaving past hurt and hardships behind. With the idyllic Alberta foothills as their backdrop, this tightknit family knows that any challenge can be met and every struggle can be overcome as long as they have each other.
Season 10
As Amy and Ty prepare for parenthood, they work together to resolve a dangerous pregnancy issue. Meanwhile, Georgie may be forced to give up something she loves when a demanding new Extreme Team coach arrives on the scene. Then, Lou has to decide whether she should tackle a new business venture that may take her away from the Heartland family. When Jack and Mitch work together with the herd, Tim is not ready to be pushed aside. And Georgie and Adam find the perfect way to celebrate an anniversary.

Ty struggles with control issues when his mom stops by for an unexpected visit hoping to bond with her granddaughter, and Amy is forced to mediate.

Amy and Ty care for a wild mare and her foal, which provides a solution to their parenting problems.
Season 13
A disgruntled horse owner causes problems for Ty and Amy's business, and they find themselves at odds about taking him on as a client.
Season 14
The past year has brought unexpected change to the Heartland family. While Amy deals with a major upheaval in her life, Lou copes with the reality of being the mayor of Hudson, and Georgie revisits her dream of the Olympics.
Season 15
Amy embraces the future - raising her daughter, working with the horses who continue to heal her, branching out into a new phase of her life and profession. She is moving forward and feels determined to leave a legacy. In fact, Jack, Lisa, Lou and Tim have all decided that now is not the time to pull back, but to ramp up, to create new dreams and fulfill old ones. And, as they always do, the family will pull together to help each other...and will ultimately end up stronger than ever.
Season 16
Season 16 finds Amy and the rest of the family making bold strides towards their futures. Amy will be challenged by the horses that need her help, but she’ll also open herself up to the possibility of new friendships and maybe even romance. Amy’s daughter Lyndy will follow in her mom’s footsteps as her talents with horses start to develop over the course of the season. Jack and Lisa will find themselves living out the dreams they’ve both worked so hard to achieve. Just as Lou and Peter have recommitted as a couple, Katie will struggle to find her place in the world and in her family. Tim has never been happier in his marriage to Jessica, but a ghost from his past will force him to reconsider mistakes he made years ago and seek ways to atone for them.
Season 17
Amy is surprised when a very pregnant Mallory shows up at the ranch with a wild horse. Jack and Tim face new competition, and Lou grapples with a familiar opponent in her campaign to be re-elected.
Season 18
Heartland struggles with competition from Pryce Beef just as Amy agrees to help Nathan Pryce in a sheepdog competition. Lou, Jack and Tim are feeling the strain as a water shortage is on the horizon.
Season 19
A raging wildfire threatens the ranch forcing the Heartland family to evacuate. But when a pregnant mare is trapped in the fire's path, Amy risks everything to try and save her.
