Death Valley Days is an American radio and television anthology series featuring true stories of the old American West, particularly the Death Valley area. Created in 1930 by Ruth Woodman, the program was broadcast on radio until 1945 and continued from 1952 to 1970 as a syndicated television series, with reruns continuing through August 1, 1975.
The series was sponsored by the Pacific Coast Borax Company and hosted by Stanley Andrews, Ronald Reagan, Robert Taylor, and Dale Robertson. With the passing of Dale Robertson in 2013, all the former Death Valley Days hosts are now deceased.

Season 1
A group of wagons leave a wagon train to head due west from Salt Lake City. Soon they find themselves trapped in a hot arid desert with their food and water diminishing rapidly.
Season 2
The good folks of town look down on Diamond Babe because of her saloon background. But a deadly epidemic hits the area and the citizens learn a lesson as Babe's care is responsible for saving lives.
Season 3
A drought in Pueblo Indian country has bypassed a branch headed by Miguel due to a painting of St. Joseph. The Laguna tribe headed by Felipe borrows it but then refuses to return it after receiving rain, causing conflict.
Season 4
Reno, Nevada's naming begins on the battlefields of Mexico where officer Reno serves with Steve and Red. While they head west Reno returns to West Point. He becomes a Civil War hero and his friends intend to honor him.
Season 5
Bill courts Grace who's unaware he's a professional gambler. After he shoots Sidewinder in self defense she ends their relationship. Bill leaves town but returns mysteriously with young Butch and Grace is charmed after learning what Bill did.
Season 6
After gold is discovered in California, Lt. Beale endeavors to be the first to make it back east with a sample of the precious mineral. His travels involve escaping Mexican bandits.
Season 7
When crossing the country in a wagon train on the way to Oregon disaster strikes the Segar family. The parents die, leaving their orphaned children to carry on under the protection of the wagon master.
Season 8
A Mexican official must decide between his fellow caballeros and his obligations to the U.S. Government during the annexation of California.
Season 9
Pamela Mann is a widow in Mexico owned Texas and depends on her oxen for her livelihood. But Sam Houston is leading a drive for independence and needs her sturdy animals for cannon movement but the spirited Pamela resists all pleas.
Season 10
Mary Kileen likes the attention of as many men as possible and enjoys it even more when they physically fight over her. But Mary goes too far when someone is killed because of her and she encourages it to happen again.

Paul Duval is scheduled for hanging and he is desperate to ward off his execution. He concocts a very unique omelet he calls hangtown fry but refuses to divulge the recipe in hopes it will keep him alive.

Baylor no longer has enough animals to get across the Kansas prairie. He devises a unique way to propel his wagon but it invites ridicule. With only Lou believing in him, Baylor proposes a race to prove he is right.

When an army convoy Is threatened by Indian attack, a young soldier played by a young Tom Skerritt volunteers to get help from a nearby fort.
Season 14
A temporary warden of a state prison is appointed by the Nevada Governor. He immediately goes about the task of recovering three escapees. While going about this task, he outwits all three without firing a shot.
Season 15
In 1850's Arizona, Charles Poston fills many positions including the ability to perform weddings. After his arrival, Father McCabe declares all marriages invalid. A trial is conducted to settle things.
Season 16
Shanghai Kelly works a side job filling ships with shanghaied sailors. He counts on long sea voyages to insure his "clients" don't come back after him. His fiancé sets him up to retire early.
Season 17
Stony comes across a dying criminal and learns the possible location of some hidden loot. Using the last of his savings to buy an abandoned mine, he has trouble locating the money until he schemes to get others to do the work.
Season 18
Lumberjack Will is attracted to Trudy, the daughter of his boss Mr. Bell. But Trudy thinks highly of herself and after Will spanks her at a box social he expects to lose his job plus his best friend's Danny whose advice he took.
