Season 1
It's our first day visiting the Blue's Clues house and right away we're welcomed in to join in a snack. Although ""snacking"" is the theme of the episode, there's much more to learn about than that. We help out Blue with a painting, show her the colors she needs. We identify foods by shape and later we find about ""Blue Skiddoo"" and visit a farm, where we help some baby chicks in hats to find their friends.

Steve isn't feeling well. He has the sniffles and so we try to help him out while learning about healthy things in the process. While in the kitchen, we categorize healthy snacks with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, then Steve gets a quick check-up with Shovel and Pail. We also skiddoo into a book, where we meet a girl named Jill who wants us to try to figure out what happens in her story when she goes out to play in the rain.
Season 3
When Mailbox provides Steve with a package, it turns out to be a treasure chest, introducing ""Blue's Big Treasure Hunt."" Throughout the episode, we search for both clues and treasure hunt hints (scrolls of paper) to lead us to our goal. We solve riddles for clues and even find secret compartments. We even get to skiddoo into the Land of Great Discovery, where we help out characters from favorite nursery rhymes to remember just what happens in their rhymes.
Season 4

Steve and Joe end up in a back and forth hide-and-seek game, with both of them looking for each other inside and outside, until finally they meet up outside. This episode is all about Joe playing his first game of Blue's Clues, in which he tries to find out what it is that Blue wants to give him. He also gets to do his very first skidoo, into a picture of colored shapes, where, he Joe and Blue play another hide-and-seek game, but this time using distance comparisons to find the shape where someone is hiding.

Once that's found, the key unlocks ""Blue's Room,"" a special playroom where she is transformed into a puppet.
