It's a Living is an American sitcom set in a restaurant at the top of the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. The show aired on ABC from October 30, 1980 until June 11, 1982. After the series was cancelled, new episodes aired in first-run syndication from September 28, 1985 to April 8, 1989. The series was created by Stu Silver, Dick Clair and Jenna McMahon, and produced by Witt/Thomas Productions, later in association with Golden West Television and Lorimar-Telepictures.

Season 1
The series opens with innocent Vicki contemplating going out on a date with a pilot. She's even more worried about what's going to happen after the dinner, since she still is a virgin.
Season 2
The staff becomes infected with baseball fever, after a baseball team invades the restaurant.
Season 3
New to the big city, Amy begins receiving a series of threatening messages from a stalker, something she is totally unprepared for after living her life in the country.
Season 4
On a night when everyone wants to leave early, the majority of the staff systematically becomes trapped on the roof, leaving Amy, Nancy and Howard to deal with a mob of customers.
Season 5
Sonny's in love and plans to marry if his fiancee can get to the church on time. Meanwhile, Howard prepares for a visit from his high-school sweetheart.
Season 6
Roomates, Ginger and Amy, may be no more after Ginger discovers Amy keeps a gun, something Ginger refuses to have in the apartment.
