Woke garbage. Even Netflix doesn't stink as bad as HBO with their trash propaganda. I mean, Trump won in election, DEI is officially dead in 2025, people moved on from that crap, but apparently HBO is still stuck in Biden's woke crap era and can't move on. They constantly attack us - conservatives in their show. There's a lot of propaganda in this show. Episode 3 of season 1 was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. People who created it and participated in should feel ashamed and disgusted. It's better to die like a man, than live in a shame and as a shell of a man and a disgrace. Besides LGTBT propaganda, there are other race related ones too, like Joe's daughter in original source (game) is white, however in this show she's black. Also, Tommy's new wife is white in game, but in show they made her black on purpose which is very obvious and discriminatory against whites. There are more lesbian scenes later... In short, lots of garbage propaganda inside this show. Ellie's charactder is completely out of line. In game, she's also portrayed as a lesbian, but there's a very small part focused on this part in game, basically it makes it non-significant, while in this show they decided to elevate it to a whole new level and make a clear political message of it. In this show, she's a spoiled brat with foul mouth and a very active lesbian. I couldn't stand that spoiled brat in the show. Horrible choice. Story is predictable & characters make stupid & unrealistic decisions. In short this show sucks just like the rest HBO low quality crap shows and there's a lot of filth in this show.

Well the story from the video game was great, and they stayed true to that which ultimately led to a great tv show. Very enjoyable. HBO has a great track record of pumping out high quality shows and this one is no different. 8/10. Hopefully the second season lives up to expectations, but if the video game is anything to judge by then it likely won't be nearly as good as season 1.

Not normally huge on zombie shows / movies but this one is quite good. I'm all about Pedro Pascal and the fungus angle is a cool one, especially as someone that is fascinated by mycelial networks.
