While standing in the doorway of the video shop where he works, Bazil is inadvertently shot in the head. True to Jeunet's style, the film is filled with unique humor, a touching but gentle tragedy, and a wonderful atmosphere, making it a marvelous piece that feels like an animated masterpiece created with real people!

Jeunet is faithful to his style. Nice and kind story, not close to Amelie but entertaining nevertheless. The cast, in any case, is superb.
